YSPUHF Recruitment 2026: Who Can Apply?

The qualification requirements for Junior Scale Stenographer and Field Assistant Gr-I posts are different. If you are interested in applying for the Stenographer role, you must have good shorthand and typing skills. 

Junior Scale Stenographer (Post Code-801)

  • Applicants must have completed 12th or an equivalent qualification from a board recognized by the HP Government.
  • You need a minimum speed of 80 WPM in English and 70 WPM in Hindi.
  • You need a minimum computer typing speed of 40 WPM in English and 30 WPM in Hindi.
  • You must know how to use Microsoft Word or similar word-processing software.

Field Assistant Gr-I (Post Code-802)

You must have completed 12th grade specifically in the Science stream from a recognized board.

What Is the Age Limit? 

Applicants for these two roles must be aged 18 to 45. 5 years of relaxation is available for applicants from specific categories, like SC, ST, OBC, and PWD candidates. Age relaxation is also available for HP government employees and ex-servicemen candidates based on the latest instructions. 

What Is the Application Fee? 

  • INR 1200 fee applies to General, EWS, and any Reserved Category candidates from other states (including HP Ex-Servicemen who left early by choice).
  • INR 600 fee applies to General BPL (HP), SC/ST/OBC (HP), SC/ST/OBC BPL (HP), Persons with Disabilities (Orthopedic, Deaf, Dumb, Hearing Impaired), and Reserved Category Ex-Servicemen who left early by choice.
  • There is no application fee for Visually Impaired (HP) candidates and Ex-Servicemen (HP) who retired normally after full service.
