IIM Sirmaur Recruitment 2026: Vacancy & Salary Details

IIM Sirmaur is hiring 11 eligible candidates for various Group A, B, and C non-teaching positions, along with special contract-based roles. Selected candidates for contract positions will receive a fixed monthly salary with medical insurance, while candidates hired for regular posts will get allowances, like CEA, LTC, and medical insurance.

Equivalent senior-level experience in private firms (like Larsen & Toubro, Tata Projects, Shapoorji Pallonji) or government, university, and PSUs is also accepted.

Age Limit: Preferably below 50 years.

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

Education: Candidates with a Master’s degree in any subject with at least 55% marks can apply. However, candidates with an LLB degree will be preferred.

Experience: Candidates must have a minimum of 15 years of administrative experience. This must include 5 years at Pay Level 11 or 10 years at Pay Level 10 in a managerial role within the Government, universities, or private sectors (as GM HR & Admin).

Age Limit: Preferably below 50 years.

Finance Advisor & Chief Accounts Officer (FA&CAO)

Education: Applicants who have passed CA / ICWA / CMA or hold an MBA in Finance can apply. 

Experience: Minimum 12 years of experience in finance and accounts, including 5 years at Pay Level 10. You must have experience handling balance sheets, final accounts, and CAG audits. Private sector experience as GM Finance is also valid.

Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years.

System Manager

Education: Candidates with a B.E. / B.Tech. / MCA in Computer Science or IT with at least 55% marks can apply. 

Experience: Applicant must have a minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years at Pay Level 10. Experience in managing IT infrastructure and websites in the government or private sectors (as GM IT) is a must.

Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years.

Administrative Officer (AO)

Education: Candidates with a First-class Master’s degree or a First-class MBA/PG degree in Management can apply. 

Experience: Any applicant must have a minimum of 8 years of experience in general or academic administration, including 5 years at Pay Level 8 or above in government, PSU, autonomous institutions, and university. Experience in IITs, IIMs, or the corporate sector is acceptable.

Age Limit: Preferably below 45 years.

Hindi Officer

Education: Candidates with a Master’s degree with 55% marks in Hindi (with English in Bachelor’s) OR a Master’s degree in English (with Hindi in Bachelor’s) can apply. 

Experience: Applicants must have a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in government, PSUs, or corporate firms. Contractual employees at IITs/IIMs drawing at least INR 62,000 per month for the last 3 years are also eligible.

Age Limit: Preferably below 35 years.

Hindi Translator-cum-typist

Education: Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hindi with at least 50% marks can apply. However, candidates with an MBA in the Hindi language are preferred.

Experience: Minimum 3 years of translation work experience in Government, PSU, or private corporate offices.

Age Limit: Preferably below 30 years.

General Manager (Administration) – Contract

Education: Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field with at least 55% marks can apply.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of work experience, including 5 years as the Head of Administration. Retired Central Government officials (with 20 years of admin experience and campus management background) are also eligible.

Age Limit: Below 50 years for regular candidates; below 65 years for retired officials.

Chief Security Officer – Contract

Education: Candidates with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any field with at least 55% marks can apply. However, ex-servicemen retired as Lt. Colonel or above are preferred.

Experience: Minimum 10 years of service for Short Service Commissioned Officers or Assistant Commandants from CAPF (CRPF, BSF, ITBP). Candidates with experience with CCTV/electronic surveillance and managing large residential campuses are required.

Age Limit: Below 56 years for regular candidates; below 65 years for retired officials.

Legal Officer – Contract

Education: Professional Law Degree (LLB) with good knowledge of labor, land, service, and government laws. Must have hands-on drafting and vetting experience.

Experience: Minimum 5 years handling legal issues for Government departments, PSUs, or corporate companies. Practicing advocates with strong track records can apply on a retainership basis. Must have strong English skills; Hindi proficiency is a plus.

Age Limit: Preferably below 60 years.

What Is the Application Fee?

• Final Merit: Calculated out of a 100-mark total (Written: 50, Skill: 30, Interview: 20)
